Judy Aks is a longtime educator who has taught students ranging from preschool to college to professionals in the tech industry. She has a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, both in political science. She has taught topics such as political theory, constitutional law, the roots of empathy, and writing. She is passionate about helping students become life-long learners and prides herself in creating a safe space to take intellectual risks. A native New Yorker, Judy has been living in Seattle for nearly three decades and is happy to call the Northwest her home.
