Director of College Counseling

Our goal at The Downtown School is to put students first in the college search process. Our students engage in a long process of self-reflection to determine what kind of post-secondary environment will best fit their interests and goals. Throughout their junior and senior years, students work one-on-one with the college counselor to expand their horizons of what institutions might appeal to them; they also learn to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of selective college admissions.

Ultimately, we want students to have the space to focus on high school and well-being during their four years with us. Beyond this, we hope to send them off to a new environment where they will continue to grow and thrive.
