Julia Grazioli-Keiter comes to The Downtown School with a passion for mathematics and a commitment to student-centered education. For the past five years, Julia has taught mathematics at innovative small schools within the Highline School District. With teaching experience in both the Seattle area and central California, Julia has developed a deep understanding of the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of students. Prior to beginning her career in education, Julia earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a secondary mathematics credential. Most recently, she completed her master’s of education in learning and technology. Julia's teaching approach is centered around challenging and inspiring all students to reach their mathematical potential. She believes in the power of place-based education and creating learning experiences that are relevant and meaningful to students' lives. Through her dedication to student success, she strives to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and empowered.
